My work is mainly blown glass, and when I make vessels I try to make them simple and easy to use. Occasionally, as a means of self-expression I will mix other materials with glass, but these days my interest lies in hotwork. Cutting and polishing of the curved surfaces produced by hotwork can bring out the beauty of glass as light shines through it, and allows for a variety of expression. Form-wise, most of my work is base on plant themes, and from those organic shapes I wish to express myself as a woman today, my emotions, and ultimately produce objects that express a feeling of vitality in life.
