I try to create unique pieces that present a narrative image to the viewer. When making pieces, the shape, color and decorativeness are all extremely important, and the theme which guides my work is "glass decor." Artistic craftsmanship is the grounding for my work, and through my work I am trying to expand the boundaries. This art overlaps with other creative boundaries that exist in the same age, leading to new potential for expression. With the works of Mozart or Picasso, no matter how you slice them they are still Mozart and Picasso. The feelings, creative inspiration, and individuality of the artist are ingrained in the work. I always hope that my own expression in glass will be like that.
